(RANDY goes next to Tom)

RANDY

There… way over there…

TOM

That’s it!

RANDY

That’s creepy… what the heck!

TOM

Gone again.  It’s fast.

MANDY

I’ll get it.

HEATHER

It got really cold all the sudden.

RANDY

Here’s my hoody if you want?

HEATHER

Thanks… can you feel it?  I’m freezing.

RANDY

Yeah.

TOM

It’s behind us.

MANDY

It’s not even registering as a known PokyMonster… no stats… no history… this is awesome!

TOM

I don’t know… something doesn’t feel right.  It’s over there now.  I’ve never seen one this fast.

MANDY

It dodged my cage!

TOM

My cage can’t even get a fix on it.

HEATHER

Something’s wrong.  

RANDY

Why is it so cold?

MANDY

I got you!

(Blackout. Screams. Lights again. MANDY is gone)

HEATHER

What happened?

RANDY

It was a blackout.

HEATHER

Even the moon?

TOM

Where’s Mandy?  Mandy?!

RANDY

What’s going on here?

TOM

I don’t know.

HEATHER

We have to get out of here.

TOM

It’s back.

RANDY

Just turn off your phone Tom… let’s go.

TOM

It won’t turn off.

HEATHER

I can feel it getting closer.

RANDY

Come on, Tom.

TOM

I’m going to catch it.

RANDY

No… something’s not right.

HEATHER

Please… stay away!

(RANDY to HEATHER)

RANDY

Get behind me.

TOM

I’ll stun it…

(There is a strange sound from Tom’s phone))

RANDY

What was that?

HEATHER

It sounds like it screamed.  

RANDY

Don’t make it mad, Tom.

TOM

Too late.

RANDY

We’re going… just throw away your phone… it’s not worth it.

(RANDY grabs TOM’s phone and throws it)

TOM

Don’t do that!  You know what that cost me?

(TOM runs after phone)

RANDY

Tom!  No!

(Darkness. Heather screams.  Light back up and Tom is gone)
